Context

Spirits of the Soil is a series of monumental paintings culminating in an exhibition for the Stedelijk Museum. Raquel van Haver depicted her experiences living ans working in Amsterdam’s Bijlmer district as well as het visits to the suburbs of Caribbean and Latin American cities, all African Diasporas.

Project

Vinger.nl organized the pre-opening in Amsterdam’s Bijlmer district.
