Three Story Dinner

A rooted dinner paired with local stories

Context

During the COVID19 lockdown, all civil servants of the city of Amsterdam were working from home. We were asked to come up with a gift to those working at Zuidoost District. The aim of the gift was to connect the civil servants with each other and the Zuidoost district.

Concept

The Three Story Dinner is a three course dinner based on healthy, delicious food from local chefs based on Surinamese and Caribbean cuisine. The courses are accompanied by podcast episodes that range from a guerrilla metro show to a specially made poem from the city poet. Through food and stories, the civil servants dove into the Zuidoost District and shared an exciting experience with each other.
