Volle Lucht
A festival that fills the air with stories, poetry and music
Context
The Gerbrandypark connects various neighbourhoods, and like other places in the area, like Plein 40-45, directly linked with war and freedom. Freedom can mean many things, both in history and today.
Concept
Volle Lucht is a local festival that interprets and celebrates freedom in various art forms. The aim is to fill the air with words and tunes, by local poets, storytellers, musicians and creatives.
On the 3-day festival there is food provided by the KolenkitKoks in De Grote Wisseltruck, next to spoken word and music.
Freedom is something to be celebrated by all, so entrance, food and entertainment is all for free.
