Developing a central platform for photojournalism in Southeast Asia
Context
Helping director Elco van der Wilt with an educational program and the curating of World Press Photo exhibition at Central World Bangkok.
Concept
The exhibition consists of four parts of which the World Press Photo forms the core. The famous World Press Photo exhibition is the product of an annual press photography competition and takes place in over ninety cities worldwide attracting around two million visitors each year.
The exhibition also includes work made by talents form all over Southeast Asia who participated in the Stream Photo Asia Masterclasses that were held from October 31st to November 4th, 2011. A selection of the work that the students made during the educational program as well as the winning photos of the conducted photo marathon were also part of the exhibition.
