Showing the possibilities of the vastly underused rooftop landscape
Context
The urban rooftops in Amsterdam are vastly underused. We want to collectively turn them into an additional dimension of the city that is sustainable, biodiverse and a green refuge for busy urbanites.
Concept
ROEF is an intimate rooftop festival in Amsterdam. It is also a pop-up campsite, a rooftop conference, de ‘dakplannenfabriek’ and three top dinners. ROEF aims at transforming the underused rooftop landscape of Amsterdam by showing its potential and thus creating a fierce support base for radical transformation.
